Jennifer Rowe PSWC-DP
Jennifer Rowe is an award-winning artist who is passionate about sharing her love of drawing and painting with others. She teaches art classes and private lessons in person and online and has instructed over 1,000 online students since she began teaching virtually in 2019. Digital tools are central to her own highly effective method of communicating fine art drawing techniques.
Jennifer is a distinguished pastellist with the Pastel Society of the West Coast. Her award-winning art has been in local, national, and international group shows at various venues including the National Arts Club in NY and the Butler Institute of American Art in Ohio. Her pastel portrait “Out of the Blue” was included in the book Strokes of Genius 8: Expressive Textures.
Jennifer’s was captivated by art during early childhood and later developed a deep interest in STEM topics as well. She has a B.S. in Engineering-Physics, worked in the aerospace industry, and taught math at a public high school. She studied art with internationally known artists, Anita Wolff and Margo Schulzke. Jennifer continues to satisfies her curiosity in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) topics by reading, researching, and, of course, by making and teaching art!
Jennifer has been homeschooling for nine years. Her daughter now attends public school and her son continues homeschooling high school. In addition to enjoying art and reading, Jennifer likes spending time in nature and taking day trips to the ocean with her husband and children.
