Science instructor, Lisa Hindmarsh, and I have teamed up to offer art and science classes back-to-back outdoors which provides over four hours for yourself while your child receives hands-on, messy, fun, and art and science lessons. I highly recommend Lisa Hindmarsh’s Hands-On Science courses; my daughter enjoyed Lisa’s classes and learned so much while having a lot of fun! Fine art fundamentals will be learned along the way as I teach techniques for drawing and shading various safari animals. I will provide instruction and/or draw-along demonstrations of each animal to prepare the students to draw that animal using a photo they choose from the reference photos provided or ones they find on their own. Over the weeks, we will explore various media including graphite, colored pencil, pastels, and watercolor on various fine art papers.
